I had an awesome seminar turn out at the ufcgymrocklin this weekend. We focused on heelhooks — more specifically: finishing mechanics, leg entanglements, leg isolation, and a couple of entries. After two straight hours of drilling I only got through a small percentage of what I wanted to teach. We had people newer to Jiu Jitsu who were picking up the fundamentals quickly, and high level black belts learning important details making the difference between finishing and losing a heelhook.
