My name is André Gomes (yes, just like our belter). I’m 24 years old, from Brazil, and I've been an Evertonian since 2011. I got to know the Club through Mikel Arteta, having always been a fascinated with players who can score great free-kicks. A couple of Mikel's free-kicks caught my eye and, before I knew it, I was hooked on Everton... the fans, the atmosphere at Goodison Park, the attitude - I fell in love with it all. Everton, in many ways, reminds me of my Brazilian club - Corinthians. I believe they are cut from the same cloth, they are both clubs for the people and the social conscience and inclusivity both promote makes makes me very proud. Until late last year, my favourite Everton memory was the Merseyside derby win at Anfield, when Richarlison scored early on. I was watching it in a British pub here where I live in São Paulo, surrounded by Liverpool fans.
