The study was funded by Health Canada and conducted by the National Research Council of Canada. Andrew Waye, who’s in charge of the research program, presented the results: “Ca**abis vapes are newly regulated products in Canada, so we don’t yet have much scientific data about them,” Waye said in a press release. “This is an opportunity for us to look at some of the questions concerning the risks and unknowns of ca**abis vapes.”
Some metals present were within 'acceptable limits,' while certain illegal samples were tested in which "Pb [lead] concentrations were up to 100 times higher than the limit."
