“At times, I feel like woody to buzz light year Unable to recognize my own fear Of not being accepted just because something new and exciting is now here.” My judgement of success used to be heavily based on external indicators. I’m getting better, but comparing my success to others used to consume me whole. Things changed after a conversation with a friend. His words were, “life isn’t competition and comparison, it’s about collaboration.” Running, writing, those are what allow me to rediscover the world.
