Today, heaven gained a real angel. Mom, you were more than a mother. You were a guardian angel, guiding light and a source of inspiration and hope. You adopted me and literally gave me a chance in life. Every opportunity I have is because you and dad loved me, cared for me and showed me how to live a life with love and purpose. The positive impact you had on not just our family or local community, but the world, will never be forgotten. If I can do 1/10th the good you did, I would be happy with that. All I ever wanted in life was to make you proud…. One of the greatest sources of pride in my life was and always will be being able to call you my mother.
