The final two Cal South State Cup Governors Division champions were crowned this past weekend, March 23-24, 2024 at the Galway Downs Soccer Complex in Temecula. On Saturday, California United FC topped FC Deportivo Norwalk Toritos, 5-1, to claim the Boys 2008/16U trophy. Governors Division Olders action concluded for this year on Sunday with Crusaders FC taking the Boys 2009/15U title in a 2-2 game against GVFC Leones, which was decided by penalty kicks, 3-0. Play also continued at Galway Downs over the weekend in the 2024 Cal South State Cup Presidents Division Olders and the 2024 Cal South National Cup Olders competitions.
