When we decided to postpone our original wedding, I also made the decision to save the wedding dress I had planned to wear. Not only was it not ready in time for our elopement, but, for sentimental and personal reasons I wanted to wear my white gown when I could walk down the aisle with my father as a bride. It felt symbolic to declare our love amongst family and friends and save that moment- one I have dreamt of - for our sequel wedding experience next year. With 3 weeks to pull together my wardrobe I knew I would have to be open minded to what was available in the short period of time I had. Wearing vintage was something that was important to me and like a good stylist I went out to my network of resources.
