ROAD TRIP TIP: We visited during our trip to Yosemite! It’s fairly easy to detour if you’re driving from
#SouthernCalifornia (like LA, San Diego, Orange County)
⚡️WHAT to KNOW ⚡️
Carrizo Plains National Monument is a 200,000 acre gem — known for its stunning wildflower display!
You’ll find painted hills, rugged terrain, and unique geological formations like the San Andreas Fault.
💰 Entrance: FREE
🍷 WHERE: Located 100 miles Northwest of LA in
#SanLuisObispoCounty — near Paso Robles Wine Country.
⛺️ STAY: There are 2 free campgrounds within the National Monument.
🥪 There are very few services in the park— Make sure to bring food, water, and fuel up before entering the park!
🙏 Take only pictures and carry out all our trash - let’s allow the wildflowers to thrive and please be careful NOT to step or drive on the blooms....
