Gillan and the Cleveland Browns won at Dallas, 49-38, while Armstead and the New Orleans Saints won at Detroit 35-29. Gillan averaged 42.8 yards on four punts, with one downed inside the 20 and a long of 45 yards. He had a 39-yard punt in the first quarter, and a 44-yard boot in the third quarter. In the fourth quarter, Gillan had punts of 43 and 45 yards, respectively. Gillan also held for all five Browns’ PATs and a pair of field goal attempts as Cleveland led 41-14 after three quarters.
