NFL GOLDEN LIONS TO BEGIN SEASONS SUNDAY Former University of Arkansas At Pine Bluff football standouts Jamie Gillan and Terron Armstead are set to begin the National Football League season this weekend. On Sunday, Gillan and the Cleveland Browns will play at the Baltimore Ravens at Noon on CBS, while Armstead and the New Orleans Saints will host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at 3:25 p.m. on FOX. Gillan enters his second season in the league after a stellar rookie season in 2019 in which he ranked 12th in the NFL in punting at 46.2 yards per punt. Gillan made the team as an undrafted rookie free agent last season and was not challenged for his position heading into 2020. The Browns (6-10) were one of only two teams to defeat Baltimore in the regular season last year. The Ravens (14-2) posted the best record in the NFL a year ago, as QB Lamar Jackson won NFL MVP honors.
