A week ago, I started covering the FIFA World Cup from NYC.
A project I started on my own; I believe that New York is the only place where you can live the tournament as in the host country.
Because you find people from every single country. 🗺️
So far, I have interviewed:
1. trickybeas four world cup player and ambassador for mls.
2. Fans from Ecuador, England, USA, Netherlands, Wales, Argentina, Mexico, France, Australia, Germany, Japan, Costa Rica, Uruguay, Portugal, Ghana, and Brazil….
3. I have gone to different bars and restaurants in Queens, Brooklyn, and Manhattan.
I hope to be able to interview one fan from every single country that is in the World Cup.
I want to find out how closer their national team makes them feel to their country. How different is it to watch a game in New York than in their home country? And how soccer connects them with their roots.
Leave a comment below if you think I can do it ☺️⭐️.
