As sports journalist, I wanted to show how important sports are in someone’s life. The role sports play inside and outside (the field, track, arena.. you name it) a lot of times was underestimated and it was necessary to tell those stories. Sports were/are more than an entertainment industry. Sports can divide people, harm them physically and emotionally, but they can also help change governmental and society rules.
