Growing up, my grandpa would always tell me "you can do anything you put your mind to," and I've always lived up to the hype. However, none of this is possible without the man above. As it reads in 1 Peter 5:6, "Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time." I stayed down, I made sacrifices, I treated people right no matter how they did me, but most of all... I grew. My story may not be the worst, but beating the odds isn't easy.
