I am always excited to get outside because my work in the outdoor industry is done, well, inside. There is something special about climbing though. There were two times that I took a long hiatus from climbing, but I always end up returning to it. Climbing calls to me because there is a purity and a child-like intuition involved. All worldly problems of " adult life" seem to fall away. It is me and the rock, just like when I was little.
