"Live where you vacation" took on a deeper and stronger meaning for me this past year. The outdoors had always been a sort of mental vacation. During the shutdown, the outdoors provided a healing and salvation so powerful that a week after my 30th birthday, I left my career of 14 years as a salon professional in order to help cultivate the relationships others could have when they are outside and needing healing of their own. I now live where I mentally vacation. With the support of my mentors and friends, I navigate a new avenue in the Labyrinth of life. Discovering the story and making the photographs that help weave the tale of the places we vacation, but we could always call home.
