The outdoors has always been an exciting and important space in my life. Although it isn't always a "safe space" for queer and marginalized people, there is the comfort in being close to nature that my soul craves. Living in the city can often feel over-stimulating; with just a short trip into the woods, I feel refreshed and ready to tackle any challenge. My favorite part of being part of the outdoor community is the strong friendships I have made with nature and adventure at the core. And dogs, we must have those adventure pups around! My fondest memories and most exciting moments I look forward to always revolve around a trip to the outdoors. One of my 2021 goals is for my partner, pup, and I to go into nature at least twice every month!
