The origin story of Kickball dates back to late summer of 2020, when 8 girls were looking for an outdoor activity. Back then, we had no field, used trees as the bases, never kept score, and mostly just ran around. This summer, I decided to revamp. What started as a way to get my friends together for a hangout during the week, turned into a full blown kickball LEAGUE. We started the preseason in late April and just as the trees blossomed - so did our league. Each week, a slightly bigger team, and an even better game. We started a mandatory group stretch & warm up session (for those of us who showed up on time) to avoid injuries and (if we were lucky) someone wouldbring some snacks to share.
