In honor of Black History Month, we want to highlight people who helped make our industry what it is today. In 1939, Frederick McKinley Jones patented the world’s first successful refrigerated transportation system. In his lifetime Jones patented more than 60 inventions! The Thermo King Model C was his most prominent achievement.
