Big fan of Mika Hakkinen, he has a very much diverse background in motorsport: he made his move to single-seater racing in Asia and then spent six years racing in Formula 3, winning the FIA Formula 3 European championship in 2015.  He is a three-time Formula Renault title winner and a Macau Grand Prix winner. He also raced in Formula E where he took three wins. In 2019, Rosenqvist began his adventure in the States racing for Chip Ganassi racing in the NTT IndyCar Series. In his free time he enjoys skiing, skateboarding, hiking and video games.
