Laguna Seca. Last race of the season, last race of emotions for the NTT Indycar Series. The track, built in 1957 at Monterey, California, has always been a traditional season finale in the calendar of American open wheel racing. The track has seen historical races since his inaugural edition in 1983, and it has always been a lucky track for the italian drivers. Teo Fabi was the first driver to win at Laguna Seca, then the race was dominated for four straight years by Bobby Rahal, from 1984 to 1988. Rick Mears and Danny Sullivan took a single win in 1989 and 1990, then, we saw two back to back victories from 1991 to 1994 with Michael Andretti and Paul Tracy, who won the last race of Mario Andretti's legendary career.
