The weekend of the Sonsio Grand Prix at Road America will also be parettaautosport ’s springboard into the 2022 season of the NTT IndyCar Series.  Beth Paretta, the owner of the team, has been committed in the equal opportunities’ field for a long time. In 2015, she launched Grace Autosport, a professional race team composed by women and an initiative to promote science, technology, engineering and mathematics education for girls. She later founded Women in Motorsports North America, a nonprofit that brings together motorsport’s professionals in order to offer women mentorship, advocacy and education initiatives. Then, thanks to a partnership with Team Penske, the Paretta group made its first appearance at the 2021 Indy 500 with Paretta Autosport, the first team with an all-female line-up, as part of the program “Race for Equality & Change”.
