This weekend marks the opening round of the championskartingacademy in Cremona, Italy. F1 Academy Discover Your Drive is supporting 3 female drivers in each category, covering one third of their budget for the season with the top 3 eligible senior drivers being awarded an F1 Academy test at the end of the season. All drivers in each category will be racing on the same chassis with an engine lottery and fixed budget - allowing talent to shine. For long term success, it’s a numbers game - we need to increase participation. This weekend, 1/4 of competitors in Champions of the Future Academy are female.
