This team has been building for years, creating something that stands behind teammates, supporting and fighting for each other more than reaching for results together. That realization is here. I couldn’t be happier or prouder with what we did together. (NCAA runner up team 😏) ⁠ ⁠ It’s tough when it feels defined by one part. On a personal note, I had no momentum coming off a redshirted outdoor season and an injury plagued indoor. I put myself back in the mix, raised the bar in training and got to chase new parts of my running. NCAA’s didn’t reflect that but it wasn’t the benchmark of my success this season.
