An excellent choice, it was an easy one while we acclimated to the altitude.⁠ ⁠ 🚶‍♂️ It clocks in at around 2 miles, less than 300ft elevation gain. It was 27 at the trailhead but we relished the crisp air and crunchy leaves, grateful for the aspen that were still wearing gold.⁠ ⁠ 🛖The cabin was really interesting and we were thrilled that the pictograph was right there out in the open. ⁠ ⁠ 💛It was a wonderful and gentle welcome to our favorite place in the world."
