Today is Women’s Equity day. A day signifying how deep into the new year the average woman has to work to make the same as a man in the previous year because of the wage gap. That's a lot of free days folks. Today we acknowledge the wage gap for all especially the impacts on women of color, differently abled, and transgender women. Latina women, who make 54% of what white men make, have to work until November of the following year to catch up to what a man made in the previous year. ALMOST TWO YEARS. The Coven is made up of women and non-binary folks who represent a cross section of humanity. We are NOT okay with these numbers and we will continue to pursue/demand/make changes in our community to decrease the wage gap. Our community is working together because we all  believe in the economic power of women and non-binary individuals.
