"I definitely want to take my education to the highest level I can. I see myself teaching and conducting research for a while, devoting myself to my academic career and incorporating my activism however I can. I’m going to follow what I’m passionate about. I first became interested in racial politics around the time of Ferguson. Gender issues piqued my interest not long after. More recently, I’ve become interested in colonization and global exploitation. I noticed that the way I viewed the world started to change.
