True sustainability looks like 👆🏽 🌎 80% of textile workers are Women of Colour.  We can’t talk about sustainable fashion without acknowledging the exploitation and lack of representation in the decision making positions from people who are the backbone of the industry.   Did you know, the most common misconception about sustainable fashion is the narrative that the green movement is led by White people from the West? Most of the top brands including the ethical space, reflect this demographic in their marketing aesthetic, and in their office decision making.  The result?  Diverse people omitted from the conversation and BIPOC voices represent tokenism.
