#endometriosisawarenessmonth I felt compelled to share my experience living with endometriosis after being diagnosed 8 years ago in hopes of bringing awareness to a much needed health condition that attend 10% of the women in this world (190 million people) With this women's history month theme being #breakthebias it was not only appropriate but necessary. This feature is in honour of Aubrion Rogers who like many women was dismissed by the medical community. Her emergency surgery resulted in a preventable death after complications from her untreated endometriosis in January 2022.
