2️⃣ Expecting our bodies to snap back with “hard work” can lead to mental distress.
Gentle reminder: Becoming a mother our bodies change rapidly through pregnancy and recovery so much so that many of us are left feeling foreign in our own skin. Every experience is unique (including our own consecutive pregnancies) our bodies are meant to change over time regardless if we have children or not.
