Whether women choose to breastfeed or not the point is women deserve choice, without judgement, projection or resentment. Breastfeeding is a woman's health and human rights issue. My daughter was born this week and I remember how extremely challenging it was in the beginning. Breastfeeding was painful and difficult. With the support of my lactation consultant, doula and pediatrician I was able to persevere and ended up breastfeed exclusively for 18 months no bottle ever not by choice btw she just wouldn't touch a bottle without tears and tantrums! 😳 I lived in my nursing bras.
