Yes, you need "follow-ship". But if leadership refuses to bury its ego, and members don't positively contribute, it's only a matter of time before it all caves in. Growth and development is only produced when the foundation is solid. Critique one another, build one another, take the criticism and get better. Rinse, wash, and repeat as needed.
