Representing the United States in another country is an honor. In May, we set off for a week-long tour of four countries (five, count- ing Vatican City). Of course, it wasn’t a vacation for me or the president; it was President Trump’s first big foreign trip. Our first stop was Saudi Arabia where—again, as a witness to history—I watched the president close a $350 billion arms deal with King Salman, which could mean hundreds of thousands of jobs for Americans.
