As a kid growing up in Rhode Island, the thought of getting to tour the White House seemed crazy. As a staffer on Capitol Hill, getting to meet the President (and maybe get a picture) was a goal. Three years ago today, there I is was, in the Oval Office, across from the President and next to the Vice President as the 28th White House Press Secretary. Just surreal. It’s been an amazing journey. Thank you to my family, friends, mentors and all of the people who have stopped to say they were praying for me. I appreciate you all.
