Everyone knows about sweet Brooklyn and her sad story, but still she has not found her forever home. We have had Brooklyn for a little over a year and a half, but this sweet girl is about to turn 4, and she has been searching for her forever home her whole life. Brooklyn was a mere 26 pounds when we found her; we were barely able to touch her, she was so fearful. Now, she is a happy, healthy 55 pounds. Personally, my favorite thing to do is go in her kennel and get a big bear hug from her. Yes, she's a little rough around the edges. She was hurt and abused before we found her, and since we've had her, she's been overlooked because of her breed and because she sometimes gets scared and barks at visitors.
