Today I visited one of the areas in #NC hit hardest by #HurricaneFlorence, Brunswick County. It is very evident that life will never be the same for many people in Brunswick County. I was humbled to be allowed into people’s homes who, in some cases, lost everything. I was honored to help distribute food and supplies alongside incredible volunteers. I got to visit pawsplacerescue, whose newly built facility was severely damaged in the storm but, the shelter is still managing to house dogs. More than anything, I was inspired today by the neighbors and communities rallying together to help one another during a time of great need. Thank you to everyone who allowed me to spend a little time with you today, I will never forget it. 🙏🏽💛
