One year ago today, our lives changed for the better. Ben was so scared that he wouldn't budge out of the car that came to drop him off with us, so I carried him. At first, he wouldn't even stay in the same room with us, but, day by day, week by week, he began to trust us. After 3 months, we decided we couldn't live without him and he officially became part of our family. I encourage all to consider fostering or adopting a dog, I promise, your heart will be full.
