➡️ In Uganda, with the construction of the East African Crude Oil Pipeline, climate injustices such as displacement, loss of livelihood, and biodiversity loss are further exacerbated by the fossil fuel industry, placing a disproportionate burden on women and children. Witnessing these atrocities, Ireen built a movement among women to form solidarity through stories, and amplifying their voices in holding polluters accountable.
➡️ In the Philippines, Felisa leads a women's group actively working with the government and other civil society groups in transforming their communities.
