🎉 Grateful and thrilled to share my journey from Brazil to UMKC! 🌎 Started as an NCAA D1 soccer player, navigating roles from facility attendant to graduate assistant while conquering academia. 📚 Balancing being a student-athlete, I earned All-WAC academic honors, leading in assists in the WAC, and teaching in Exercise Science 🧬. 🚀 Climbing the ladder at Campus Rec (umkcrec ), and being an Adjunct Instructor was a challenge, but each step was fueled by hard work and discipline. 🏋️‍♂️ Graduating with a Health Science degree and later a Master’s in Public Administration, I faced hurdles but overcame them with determination. 🌟 umkcinkansascity , thank you for the chance to start anew, pursue dreams, and represent UMKC on billboards and buses! 🙌 It’s been a journey of challenges, celebrations, and meeting incredible people worldwide.
