I’ve learned in leadership there’s something called the Law of The Lid In a convo with @jacobolvera1 on his podcast @thevisionroomsocial thank you for having me bro It’s a John Maxwell thing so you know it’s legit but basically saying that you can only raise a leader one level below the one you’re at If you’re an 8 at something you can effectively train someone to be a 7 at it The rest of that, which I call the grace gap 🙌🏾 is God giving that leader the capacity and ability to do what they’re called to do A lot of that takes TRUST. You, my friend as a leader must get to a point where you can trust that if someone does something 85% as well as you do it, they can take the reigns and go for it. But that is SCARY. and to the person you’ve trusted it’s SCARY FOR THEM TOO. But how else are we gonna see what we’re made of.
