Photographing bison in Yellowstone National Park was a dream come true! Months later, I decided to revisit those photos and see what I could do with them. At first glance at the unedited version of the photo, someone would likely assume it was useless. But, that is why I always shoot in RAW! I loved the composition that I created on site, but the light wasn’t working in my favor. By shooting in RAW, I could pull out the details I could see in person but weren’t effectively captured in camera. Shooting in RAW isn’t just for astrophotography! Shot on Nikon D7000 with Tamron 150-600mm G2 lens. 1/250sec, f/6.3, ISO 200. 550mm. July 2021. Edited in Adobe Lightroom Classic (background heavily overexposed). Any feedback or questions are greatly appreciated! #yellowstonewildlife #yellowstonenationalpark #yellowstonephotography #wildlifephotography #bison #sonyphotographer #buffalophotographer #bisons #tamronlens #supertelephoto #teenphotography #montanamoment #visitwyoming #nationalparksserv...
