In honor of #VeteransDay on November 11, we’re sharing posts this week about our veteran-focused work in Georgia. We partner with nonprofits that help improve the lives of veterans and their families by focusing on post-service OPS: Opportunities, Purpose and Support. ** Today, as we highlight post-service OPS for veterans, we focus on Purpose by featuring teamrwb, an Overwatch Fund partnership that began in 2018 with funding support to create Team RWB’s Atlanta Firebase, a multi-use community hub for veterans. ** Old Glory Relay highlights the camaraderie and fulfillment that Team RWB creates for veterans and communities. This 62-day, 2,500-mile journey began in New York City on the 20th anniversary of the September 11th attacks and culminates in Atlanta on November 11. Carrying an American flag across nine states, veterans and supporters have run, walked and hiked side by side to honor our nation’s veterans.
