AT&T changed the account passcodes of millions of its customers after it confirmed a massive data breach in which "sensitive personal information" leaked on the dark web. The mobile carrier said that the data set appears to be from 2019 or earlier, impacting approximately 7.6 million current AT&T customers and 65.4 million former customers, adding that it "does not have evidence of unauthorized access to its systems resulting in theft of the data set."
