Tracking your sessions is simple. Buy a notebook. Download a tracking app. Use the Notes app in your phone!
Write down the exercise, weight selection, reps, and how it felt. This benefits you in the next training sessions , because you can look back and know “last week I did this weight for 6 reps. Let’s try to get to 8 this week.”
This saves you all the time and wasted energy of doing the dancey dance of selecting a weight, trying it, too easy, try again so on for eternity.
Accurate tracking means smarter warm ups, smarter selection, higher quality work, and energy saved from doing extra reps because you THOUGHT you did that last week when you should’ve just gone up in weight.
