The bitch is back. #pullsumoeatbutt First session back and took 300x6. Took a year off pulling sumo- needed a mental break as much as my SI needed the physical break. Smiling through the reps Bc I’m just happy to be here! “Did you lose strength while transitioning to bb?” Yes and no. Definitely technique decay, am not as proficient with SBD the same way I was when doing it 3-4x a week. BUT in the past year I’ve added a lot of muscle which I feel will give me better carry over. My glutes have been extremely weak and now that I’ve spent a lot of specific work, I feel my sumo deadlift will only get stronger. This is THE BEST sumo has felt. Last October I dropped out of a meet, and was doing doubles at 305.
