Training has been coming along quite nicely this past training block as I’m finally hitting numbers that I haven’t hit in a long time 💙
For a while I was limited to weights that didn’t cause discomfort. I finally began increasing intensity again while prepping for the Arnold. When COVID happened, my training became quite inconsistent - something I’m sure that many others have struggled with as well.
I’ll be honest, coming back after taking time off and using weights that were at one point warm-ups as working sets has been a mental mind fuck. I know the strength would come back fast with some consistent training but knowing that doesn’t make it any easier. But, I kept showing up and this is the result.
I worked up to 455x1. My start position wasn’t the best by any means but the fact that I was confident enough to attempt this weight was just the mental PR I needed.
With the new weight classes officially announced it’ll be no surprise I’m moving to 69kg. I’ve been walking around bet...
