I’ve been absent from social media these past couple weeks as I juggle moving into a new apartment and starting a new job while still coaching for JuggernautTraining. Unrelated but this is on top of dealing with an ear infection from a bad cold, so that’s been fun. I’m also still finding time to train as that’s important to me. Anyway, this new position is in the field applied neuroscience as it applies to the performance of the elite athlete. Think about a quarterback who has milli-seconds to make an informative decision to pass the ball, or who to pass to. This split decision could change the entire outcome of the game. Can we train that, and is it measurable? The answer to both is yes. Another example is an experienced versus novice powerlifter.
