#FBF Last heavy squat single back in July 2018 before I started experiencing glute pain and exactly 100kg more than what I put on the bar at Worlds. I haven’t been on any specific training program this week but simply going to the gym and doing whatever I feel like doing. I’ll usually do this a week after a meet as a mental break from the monotony of powerlifting programming. These next several months will focus on back squatting at lower loads and slowly increasing intensity over time. That means putting my ego aside and squatting the bar if I need to. One of my biggest mistakes has been trying to do too much too soon instead of progressing slowly. Unfortunately that’s hard to do when prepping for a meet. While the goal is to compete at Raw Nationals in October I won’t be putting a timeline on my progress. I’ll take as long as needed so I can be 100% again and make this weight my opener, we all know I need a redemption meet 😂 #slowandsteadywinstherace
