Top set of squats at 170kg (374lbs) x4.
Still having glute pain but I’ve found I’m able to squat with minimal discomfort by placing a loose band around my knees, and therefore able to train squats without modifying the movement completely. That being said, I don’t want to rely on this approach too much so I’ll do away with it over the next few weeks as we work towards singles.
The main priority at the moment is pain management leading up to Worlds. We’ve lowered my training frequency from 6 to 4 days/week and I’ve also started working with quinn.henochdpt on some rehab exercises to help with this.
