I’M GOING TO CALIFORNIA! . 2 years ago kylepigney taught me about powerlifting and I dove right in. I watched videos, read articles, and came upon some incredible people like eddycoan (ever heard of him? 😅) megsquats , and marksmellybell . I was amazed by what these people (and more) were doing to grow the sport and bring people to the barbell. . I competed my first time but didn’t feel like a ‘real’ powerlifter until I got my first pair of knee sleeves from Slingshot and my first belt ever from elitefts - the first two powerlifting companies I was in love with. Kyle and I would watch YouTube videos of Supertraining Gym and swore we would go check it out some day just to train. . The time has come!! Except now we’re not just going to train, we’ll be hanging with whole dang gang. I expect another quad off with Mark (you know I’ll win).
