There’s something to be said about pushing your body to its physical limit even when it’s doing everything it can to push back against you. Going in to bench I was a bit discouraged after missing my 3rd squat. Mentally I just wasn’t into it anymore. Chad sat me down and basically told me to get my head right. I ended up PR’ing both my bench and deadlift by 7.5kg which I don’t think would’ve been possible had I mentally disengaged myself. Crazy what having the right mindset can do in these situations
